The Floor Joists are 25 feet in the air!

I know some of you faithful readers saw "floor joists" and thought to yourself; this blog entry is going to be boring guy stuff. Wrong! You were expecting more on lag bolts, framing squares and other male-like building terms (not that females can't build...but since they get to make babies maybe they don't feel the same need for....for what? I don't know. I am stopping right there before I say something that violates the feminist code of linguistic correctness.l

What was I talking about? Oh yeah, floor joists. By themselves: Boring technical manual material. But floor joists perched between two enormous tree branches 25 feet above the ground? An emerging image of how the completed tree house will appear? Smug satisfaction of silencing the skeptics who said it couldn't be done? Now that is a thrilling sight! Just look at the new photos. Especially thrilling was getting them from the ground where they were pre-assembled up to the equivalent of the roof of a three story building. All without an Army Corps of Engineers helicopter or one of those giant construction cranes used for building the Sears Tower.

Really, its thrilling. Trust me.
