Here you’ll find pics of some of our activities for 2005-2006 academic year. It’s been interesting to say the least.
---------------------------------------
On April 2, the USM•CSI Chapter hosted a joint meeting with the Mississippi Chapter CSI at Season’s Restaurant here in Hattiesburg. Jim Griswold of Kawneer spoke on “Designing glazing systems for high wind conditions.”

As usual, the USM•CSI Chapter made its presence felt at the 2006 CSI Product Show. For the first time our USM•CSI student Chapter took a display booth to show off USM student work, and to market our program of course.
We also got around the aisles talking to vendors and getting the skinny on cool technology. The guy at Grace Construction Products saw a barrage of USM visitors asking questions about building envelop solutions. If you see the mouse pads in the lab, now you know where they came from.
But the good news, from talking to architects at the show, is that there is going to be an abundance of jobs coming up soon. So work hard and get prepared. You might just be on the job before you know it.
At the Show, the food was great as usual -- it was the best show we’ve been to in years. Great, great, great Show!

It was a great way to end the year. USM•CSI members made the trip to Jackson to celebrate the holidays with the Mississippi Chapter CSI at the University Club in downtown Jackson.
