WARM WARM WARM

WARM WARM WARM

I apparently lost the month of February. I remember January 27. That was the day my son flew in from Japan. I remember February 12. That was the day I was supposed to fly to Tacoma for the Madrona Fiber Festival. But, it was also the day of a big snowstorm and my flights were cancelled. I got back, my sister came for a week, two more snowstorms, my ex husband to be drove son back up for the last few days of his visit and February was suddenly over. Oh, I forgot, another snowstorm. My head is still reeling.

The leaves look really cute all pinned out like little butterflies on the cork. I was so inspired that I knit several extra, including the two at the top of the blog that I’m using for the Project Spectrum Element “Fire” swap.

Here are more leaves. And more leaves.
Here’s Baron trying to knit leaves. (Sorry it’s blurry)

All the leaves are done and blocked, the first sock is sewn together and the second is past the heel. Got to finish before Sock Madness begins on Thursday.
More about Madrona tomorrow.
Plus, March is National Novel Editing Month. 50 hours in 31 days. I’m doing it, first 4 chapters have been edited. Five and six are in the works. I love the energy that spring brings with it.
March? It’s March? What happened to February?
