From Film to Oil
As a photographer living in and traveling to wonderful countries and cities, Susan B. Farris shot thousands of split-second moments, stories, really, several of which became award-winning photographs. However, in 1997, two small oil portraits she painted as a gift engendered such delight and enthusiasm in the recipients that Susan was affected as if pierced by Cupid's arrow - she became hooked on the joy of painting.
