I am maintaining this journal on our trip to Europe, April to June, 2006. This is our Retirement Trip. I retired from the University of Alaska on July 1, 2005, and Dan started collecting Social Security as of August 1, 2006. It was a very busy fall and winter, with my new research project. So this is a very well-earned vacation trip!
