We left Levanto right after breakfast, and drove to Corniglia, the last of the villages. The road was very narrow, and appeared to be under repair from being washed out in places. We spent about an hour in the village, taking pictures. Then we headed into La Spezia where we found gas and a motorway, heading for Bologna.

 

After our usual getting lost and confused without a map of the city, we stopped in the airport to get directions for our hotel. After finding the hotel and checking in, we had dinner and then headed back to the airport to pick up Erin, who was joining us from Budapest for a weekend in Tuscany.
