It was a relatively cold day in Odessa: 10 degrees (Celsius). This city is the closest we will get to Russia. We saw examples of many buildings from the different eras: Stalin, Kruschev, and a lot of high-rise condos being built new today. We took a tour all morning, but did not go back into the city after returning to the ship. Didn’t want to climb up these steps! This city shows its Russian roots. A lot of the older buildings were crumbling, but the Opera House was beautifully restored.
