Assisi, Italy
We drove past Perugia to Assisi, to visit the Basilica of St. Francis. Following a walk through his tomb (underneath the main alter) we wandered through the nearby town. The view from the road (above) was awesome, as was the church from the village (below). 
Then, back to Cortona for a few more pictures, in the daylight. 
After finding a local laundromat to do our last load of laundry for this trip, we headed up the castle overlooking our hotel. We had dinner almost at the top of the castle, and then explored the highest part of this Castiglion Fiorentino hill.
