Creative Cities is a project initiated by Paul Ross and Heike Arzápalo. The encounter of perspectives of a cultural historian and an international studies specialist focused on culture has arisen many questions regarding  the concepts and definitions of creativity and modernity, the validity and viability of paradigms from developed countries, the role of the urban environment on the art practice, how cultural resources are being capitalized on,  etc. An American and a Mexican that have different life backgrounds and ways of interpreting the world will approach partners in Beijing, Mexico City and New Delhi in order to increase their understanding about those questions and to share with you another way of looking at art.
