Japanese Singer-Songwriter HARUNA is no stranger to the stage. A graduate of The New School For Jazz and Contemporary Music, she is fluent in the Jazz, R&B, Soul and Japanese Soul Genres. Back in Japan, she was a regular on “Chugakusei Nikke”, a popular T.V Show. She was also in a number of Theatre productions in Japan and China. Haruna has performed at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, Sweet Rhythm, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Club Sol, and many other venues. She was one of the award recipients of the “Teens Music Festival” sponsored by Yamaha in Japan. Haruna was also a finalist in the running to sing “The National Anthem” at the “The Blue Jays” vs. Yankees Baseball Game in the summer of 05’. HARUNA is now promoting her original music with her band, which is a mixture of Soul and R&B in both English and Japanese.

The New School University, Jazz & contemporary music program 入学＆卒業。
２００７年５月、６年間過ごしたニューヨークを離れ帰国。
現在、都内を中心にライブ活動、レコーディング等の音楽活動をしている。
