A sketchbook is a a collection of blank pages for sketching, and is used by artists as a part of their creative process.  Long before my time, artists used the small, easy to use but incredibly accurate Leica rangefinder cameras as their "instant" sketchbooks, recording the world from which they would paint, sculpt or draw.  This photo-sketchbook focuses on my recording of the world and includes many such travel and nature studies and sketches of my daily (or nearly so) photographic endeavors with the modern Leica "sketchbook", the M8.  I intend a picture or group of photo studies a day, as my commercial photography schedule allows.  I can't promise always to have accompanying text, but I can promise photographs following my digressions and internal journey, searching for that connection between humanity, the Earth and the Cosmos.
