Welcome to my web site, the images enclosed are scanned colour photo copies and obviously are not exact representations of the colour depth I work in - however the enclosed paintings are a descent representation of the compositions I like to study; universal scenarios generally void of place or time specifics but at the same time eluding to an oncoming circumstance or procedure. For now this is the best description of my work

 

I have studied a group of ‘ideas’ or compositions for  over 20 years, typical examples would be bistro and cafe’ scenarios - cooks and waiters, other examples are urban landscapes (commuters) or theatre images, birds, specific landscape compositions etc. - most of this group of ideas can be found on this web site and are how I accept commissions. Commissions are taken based on general subject matter I work in.

 

My background; I was born in 1960 in southern Ontario (Canada) and live currently in Toronto Canada. I was tutored in fine art (oil painting) throughout grade school by Roger Rondue (a not so famous local artist) - later in life I studied Industrial Design in London Ontario (Canada) received my degree and continued to paint.
