Our backyard “urban” chickens Ginger and Sunny are pictured above as well as our wonderful poodle, Pepper. The black and white hen, Bonnie, is a four color woodblock print. I made a silk screened card of chickens Ginger and Sunny from the photo above as well as a card of Pepper in a happy bouncing moment. Every day there are fleeting moments that would be interesting to capture and interpret into a fun print. The pages that follow will illustrate part of the process.
