Carol Ann - Portrait of an Artist
I was clearing out my “sent email” folder this weekend and came across the first iMovie I created to teach about the elements and principles of design in the visual arts. This is Aunt Carol painting the still life that hangs in our Yellow room upstairs. This video stands as an excellent example of using emerging technologies to reach a diverse student population.
Since creating this video in 2005, Carol Ann has continued painting many other beautiful works. She has sold some of her paintings and continues refining her techniques. On our last trip to Nashville, we joined her and her husband, Mike, in visiting local art galleries and a prestigious modern art exhibit.
The version of the video on this page was originally sent to family members by email at a screen size of 240 pixels width by 170 pixels high. I have increased the size to 300 pixels width by 212 pixels high for this page.
