a brief introduction
Heero moved to Ukraine in 1997 to serve as a church planter with both Mission to the World and the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in order to help people get to know the real Jesus Christ. Heero and Anya met in 2000, and were married in 2002. After having served in the cities of Nikolaev and Kyiv for 8 years planting (starting) new churches, the three of us, Heero, Anya, & our daughter Juliette (born in 2004), moved in 2007 to an important cultural and intellectual center of Ukraine called L’viv (also known as Lvov, Lwow, Lemberg, and Leopolis) . (Our son, Christian, was born in January of 2010.) Our desire is to help plant new churches in and around L'viv, the largest city of western Ukraine. It is our hope and prayer that these churches will have a vision for the formation of many new vibrant Reformed/ Presbyterian churches in western Ukraine -- for the benefit and joy of the people of L’viv and western Ukraine. Please make use of the links at the top of this page (and those to the left) to learn more about our family and our past and planned ministry in Ukraine -- and how you can participate in it!
