Guy can most often be found along the banks of the American River and along the nature trails of the Parkway near his home in Sacramento, CA. There he photographs wildlife and scenery, and he regularly volunteers for local organizations that work to protect the American River Parkway.

When he isn’t at the farm or out at the river, he can be found traveling around California’s vast terrain, or some other not so distant land, or even photographing weddings, conferences, or other special events.

“ Whenever I take pictures, I not only try to capture unique moments, but the essence of the whole by capturing things big and small.  I mostly use a photojournalistic style. I want each image to tell a story that will comprise the contents of a great story book.

When photographing nature, I want to capture images that make people feel like they are viewing the image live and in person. I want my photos to inspire, to enlighten, and to impress.”

“I started out by taking pictures of things to use in digital slide shows as a way of preparing kids for outdoor adventures. Next thing I knew, I had a digital library full of some pretty amazing images.”
