HRPodcast is the brainchild of Guy Clapperton, a business journalist since 1989. He has been editor of the now-annual book, Britain’s Top Employers, since 2002 and was pleased to see it taken on by Guardian Books in his second year as editor. His fourth edition is currently available.

Guy has been covering HR issues for the national press and trade magazines for a number of years. He has contributed to the work and employment sections of the Guardian, Telegraph and Mail on Sunday; he has also contributed to trade publications including Professional Recruiter.

He has podcast on business issues for the Guardian and has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour as an expert on work/life balance. He has also appeared on BBC Radio London and the BBC World Service.

The music is by Darren S. Pullman, an experienced TV theme tune writer who contributed the theme to Central TV’s current affairs programme ‘Central Lobby’ and most notably to the well-regarded Roger Cook investigative programme, ‘The Cook Report’.
