The month of April has become significant in Taekwon-Do history. April 11th represents the birth of the ‘Taekwon-Do’ name but also the death of Grand Master Park Jung Tae, the legendary Taekwon-Do technician also known to many as “The People’s Grand Master”. Grand Master Park devoted his life to the promotion and development of Taekwon-Do throughout the world. His technical expertise, charismatic character and approachable personality attracted people from all walks of life. He was a very modest and humble man with many talents and his reputation for perfection is the foundation that the GTF is built on. His dedicated followers continue to grow and the future looks bright for a new generation of Taekwon-Do practitioners.
