GWAC, Inc. is a non-profit organization that brings teen coaching & mentoring to public and private schools. GWAC’s mission is to help teen-aged girls find and express their voices through acts of kindness. GWAC gives girls and their peers the opportunity to creatively contribute to their communities alongside strong and successful role models. Through physical and mental dedication to their causes, girls learn about themselves, each other and their mentors in supportive, proactive environments. GWAC naturally derails many of the issues plaguing today’s teens and demonstrates that true confidence and happiness comes from self-awareness, integrity, self-respect, a good work ethic and a willingness to help others. GWAC emphasizes self-esteem building, character development, team building, leadership skills, social skills and contributing to community.
