1. What is the catch?
There is no catch. You can choose the color of one square inch of my house for one dollar. Make sure I have your email address and I will send you a photo of your inch when the house is complete.
2. When will the house be complete.
I have no idea. I don’t have land, a design or anything else together yet.
3. What is it that I’m buying?
You are buying the right to choose the color of one square inch of an interior wall in our house.
4. Can I come see my inch?
I’m sure we can work something out.
5. Who are you?
I’m a stay-at-home dad who’s sick of living in a tiny apartment and whose current financial plan doesn’t put us in a house for about 5 more years. I’m looking to speed up the process. My kids need a yard (and a dog).
6. Are you just gonna slap some paint on a wall and say I got my money’s worth?
No. We will grid off as much space as necessary and have a log of each person’s color and location. If three people choose green, then there will be three individual green squares. If 182 people choose green, then there will be 182 green squares. It’d be really boring if everybody picked white.
7. Are you serious?
Yes!
8. I don’t get it!
9. I don’t do electronic payments. Can I still buy a color?
Absolutely. Just send your colors and the appropriate funds to SquareInchHouse, PO Box 8002, Chattanooga, TN 37414.

How to buy:
Right now, Paypal, is my best choice for accepting online payments, but they charge me 30 cents per transaction (no extra charge for you), so buying one square is worth about 65 cents to me. Buying two squares ends up costing me about 18 percent per transaction and four squares cost me about 10 percent.
I’m happy to sell you one square, but it’s more practical (and obviously better for me) if you buy 2 or 10 or 50!
If you know me (or anyone in my family) you can just give us your buck and your color choice and I will log it and we can avoid those nasty fees altogether.
