WhereInTarnation.com is the product of a dad who wanted to put together a fun and family oriented gift for his kids. Greg Clow did some research and found that there was indeed a place in northern California with his family name on it: Clow Mountain. His daughters thought it was real "cool" when they saw their name on this real place.
Being a professional designer, Greg created a handsome work of art on which to place the mountain name, county and state. The kids just loved it!
Today Greg researches hundreds of family names, and continues to build the small business, one family name at a time. If you see your name in our list, please check out your family's design now! If you don't see your name, we'll be happy to do the research and email you back with our results.
