The mission of your class officers is to extend a feeling of family to all our classmates, and to put as many of you in touch with each other and the College as possible. In addition, we will do our best to keep you informed on Dartmouth issues, and provide you with ways to show your support and/or ways to suggest improvement.

We are all open to suggestions, and we welcome your input. Feel free to use the email addresses on the left to contact any one of us. Or use our Class Blog!

In general, the difference is in how the class information is distributed. Class Secretaries write for the Alumni Magazine and they have a fixed, small area they are designated to fill. Newsletter Editors write for our own self-published mailer which is only seen by members of our class. And the newsletter has more room to go into interesting areas and directions which might be considered inappropriate for the Alumni Magazine.

As far as who you should write with what information, it is up to you. The Newsletter and the Alumni Magazine are published bi-monthly, timed to alternate in your mailbox. Items sent for the Alumni Magazine are generally less timely, because the Alumni Notes are submitted two months in advance.

We plan to publish the Newsletter electronically for download off this website, as well as in hard copy. If you would like to receive just the electronic copy, please let us know by emailing any of the Newsletter editors. This will save the class money while improving communication and immediacy.
