We have reserved the Hinman Forum in the Rockefeller Center for our reception and dinner. We have it all day so look forward to using this spot at the back of Silsby by Webster Avenue (Frat Row) as a central hub for this mini-reunion.

9 AM: Saturday Morning Playbook: Football Coach Buddy Teevens '79, Alumni Hall, Hopkins Center
10 AM: Faculty Chalk Talk Lecture, Alumni Hall, Hopkins Center: Chris Jernstedt, Professor of Psychological and Brain Sciences. The title of the one-hour lecture is “Changing the Brain: Dynamite, Ghostwriters, and Zen” A description is “The capabilities of the human brain are not what we have thought. As some of the mysteries of the brain unfold, brain science has enabled the discovery of powerful ways for us to change the brain, and the art of Zen. What is the nature of human consciousness, and to what degree do we know what our brain is doing?” This will be a great lecture for alumni, their guests, and their children.

Speaker: Professor Don Pease, "Faculty Member of the Year" in 1981, and current English professor at Dartmouth. He has offered to speak a little about his upcoming book about Dartmouth's own Dr. Seuss.

As you can see, it's a great opportunity for you to bring your family back to campus. There are educational, sporting, and social events available throughout the weekend.
Dartmouth President Kim has confirmed that he will join us for a short while on a very busy weekend, as he, too, will be turning 50 this year. Arrive at our reception early to make sure you have a chance to say hello.
This should be a great -large- mini reunion, and we hope that all of you can put this on your calendar and plan on attending.
Lodging
In a normal, major reunion, the College would supply dorms, sheets, bedding and meal plans. The 50th Birthday Celebration is a mini-reunion, and those arrangements are left to you.
