Thanks to Bob for sending in this cracking photo of the Seconds who won the Reserve Division 3 back in 1991.

Plenty of dodgy hairstyles, a tie between Dai Yelland and Greg for the limpest wrist competition, Mark Jenkins a clear winner in the cheesiest grin competition and Mark Rice the tallest player in the club!

Firsts Are Relegated

Drefach Firsts will be playing their football in Division 3 of the Carmarthenshire League next season. They have returned to the bottom division for the first time since the club was formed in the mid 1980’s.
They now join neighbouring Gwendraeth Valley sides, Bancffosfelen, Cross Hands and Carway in the basement, leaving Ponthenri as the best placed team from the Cwm.
A huge effort is now called for, both on and off the pitch, to return to the glory days which followed shortly after the last time we competed at that level.
