CLUB CONSTITUTION

THE CLUB


•Provision of an adequate pitch

•Provision of adequate changing facilities and showers

•Provision of adequate equipment (balls, corner flags etc.)

•Provision of adequate kit

•Organisation of fixtures and match officials

•Provision of post match food

•Organisation of social nights and provision of a venue to socialise after matches

•Provide adequate first aid equipment and trained personnel for all matches


THE PLAYERS


•To check if game is on/off

•Payment of subs on match day

•Payment of fines two weeks after they have been received

•Regular attendance of training

•Punctuality on match days

•Commitment to the cause of the club

•Attendance of social/fundraising events

•Attendance to AGM/SGM’s

•Staying after matches to socialise

•Accept the managers decision on team selection

•Let managers know availability 3 days before scheduled game


THE MANAGERS


•To pick a side without prejudice or favouritism

•Regular attendance of training to provide feedback and coaching

•To pick a side two days before the game is scheduled

•Commitment to the cause of the club

•Attendance of social/fundraising events

•Attendance to AGM/SGM’s

•Staying after matches to socialise




RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ALL PLAYERS OF DREFACH AFC

(The Ten Commandments)


  1. 1. Thou shalt be a member of the Drefach Cricket & Football Club and pay all due club subscriptions to the said club.

  2. 2. Thou shalt do thy turn in cleaning the dressing room after every match and in running the post match raffle.

  3. 3. Thou shalt join the 100Club and sell raffle tickets for the Christmas draw when required.

  4. 4. Thou shalt support all social functions run by the club.

  5. 5. Thou shalt return to the opposition club after every away match and accept their hospitality in the same way as we would expect them to accept our hospitality for home games.

  6. 6. Thou shalt pay all fines within 2 weeks of issue.

  7. 7. Thou shalt play for the team selected and under no circumstances play for the other team if refusing selection.

  8. 8. Thou shalt train regularly.

  9. 9. Thou shalt at all times behave responsibly and appropriately to all fellow players and members of the club. You shall also respect all visiting referees and teams both on and off the field.

  10. 10. Thou shalt not be transferred to any other club without paying all outstanding debts.
