Social Improvisation - Fundamental social interaction as performance helps your child start quickly and effortlessly!  Your performer will experience successful social interaction simply by participating. Parents and caregivers need only watch; a supportive audience increases each child’s involvement. The group experience also helps children to learn volumes just by watching each other and taking turns. Fun for all ages.

Each Thursday workshop is $25. Consider the $15 upgrade, and stay late, or come early, for more of the 3-hour workshop, here’s why:

Some youngsters easily get interested and want to stay longer. Children learn a lot from each other. For example “shy” kids can come earlier (starting at 2 p.m.) and participate at a more fundamental level. The reverse is also true: More confident 5-year olds might benefit greatly from working with the older students. All will participate in age appropriate activities.

Your satisfaction is our guarantee. We are more than happy to return tuition to anyone unsatisfied for any reason. Discounts apply for a second child and a 10-workshop series.

Some children want to prepare for film and television auditions and the tuition at other facilities is easily two or three times ours. Many children, seeking the social skills enrichment for fun and confidence, will find our tuition is on par with other specialized training, such as martial arts.

Industry Workshops cultivate product (actor demo tape) used for promotion and auditions. By invitation.

Using a simple “Connect the Dots” approach, children and other new actors quickly gain confidence within the imaginative circumstances of a performer.  These workshops are geared to “Industry Standards,” and designed to also prepare a child for professional film and TV auditions.

We strongly encourage parents to stay and watch their child.  Having someone to perform for - especially a parent - is a great motivator for children.  Even more importantly, once a parent knows what to look for, they can even rehearse their child for auditions.

Effortless Acting Workshops for Children are facilitated by Grant Mathis, experienced performer, actor and LAUSD certified teacher of Parent/Child workshops for over 7 years.
