Celebrating the New Year at Lake Tahoe Posted Wednesday, January 7, 2009 I can’t lift my right arm over above my shoulder. It hurts when I stand up. Tiff sounds like she’s been working in a coal mine, and she might have suffered a minor concussion. God that was awesome.  Bumps and bruises, coughs and colds aside, we’re back from an incredible week at Heavenly Resort on South Lake Tahoe with Tiff’s side of our family. For five straight days we took to the mountain above the lake, using the gondola that was literally five minutes walk from our condo. Hours of riding, great food, a few <ahem> drinks, mixed with some football, gambling, monopoly and lots of laughs made it a memorable week.  A look at the lake from the gondola.  Tiff wore her Panthers jersey on Sunday. I did not wear my Lions jersey. We had some decent sunsets:     There was some excellent riding for those who knew what they were doing...     ...and even for those who didn’t.  I’d say we had a pretty good time.
