Board: Training Barn is $250.00 per month or $10.00 per day for horses in training with Andy Amsden. All turn out and exercise, hay, feed (unless you opt to bring your own feed and any additional supplements you wish your horse to have) and minerals are included with this fee. Boarding Barn: $250.00 per month or $7.00 per day depending on the horse. Turn out and feed, minerals and hay provided unless you bring your own. All Boarders must take a minimum of 3 lessons a month from trainer. You will be charged for these lessons whether you use them or not. Pasture Board is only available under special circumstances and will be worked out individually with an owner. Riding Lessons: Beginner through advanced lessons are available at Herbst Farms. Lessons are purchased in packages and must be paid for upfront unless special arrangements have been made IN ADVANCE. Beginner: Lessons for kids under the age of 7 are $15.00 per session. Often kids at this age are unable to stay focused on lessons for a full hour. Complete grooming, saddling, bridling and safety with horses will be taught, along with riding. Helmets and boots are required. Hunt, English or Western. Older Beginner Lessons: Lessons for ages 8 and older $20.00a full hour of instruction. Guidance will be provided in grooming, saddling, bridling, and safety with horses, along with riding. Helmet and boots required. Intermediate to Advanced Lessons: $25.00 per session. Lessons for riders of any age that have experience and knowledge of horses and riding are available in many disciplines such as Dressage, Hunt Seat, Trail Riding, Western, Driving, etc. Proper attire is required. Jumping Lessons: $35.00 per session. An outside trainer schedules these throughout the month. You must have experience in jumping and proper attire: Breeches, boots, helmet. You may trailer your own horse to the facility for lessons (all horses must have current vaccinations and Coggins), or for an additional $10.00 you may use a horse from our farm after demonstrating your ability to ride properly and safely over jumps. Crossrails through 3’6” jumping available. Trailrides: By appointment only, $20.00 per rider. You must prove that you can ride properly and safely before you are permitted on the trail. Trail rides are supervised at all times, with proper safety rules followed. No running or leaving the trail without permission. ANY CELL PHONE MUST BE TURNED OFF!

EVERY EFFORT WILL BE MADE BY HERBST FARMS AND STAFF TO PROVIDE YOU A SAFE AND FUN EQUINE EXPERIENCE BUT DUE TO THE UNPREDICTABLE NATURE OF HORSES AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO THEM, ALL EQUINE SERVICES ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK PER MISSOURI LAW!!!!!
