Herbst Farms consists of an 20 stall training barn and a 9 stall boarding barn with turnouts that have shelter attached. We have a large indoor arena and an all weather outdoor riding arena with a chat base and several inches of rubber on top to provide a safe, useable riding surface for many types of horse activities including Jumping, Dressage, Driving, etc. We also have approximately 30 acres of horse pasture mostly used by broodmares. The Farm is 300 acres in size, much of which is used for growing crops and hay for the horses. We have many scenic trails, some along the St. Francois River, and an abandoned railroad bed which provides a mile long all weather place to ride and condition the horses.
