I began teaching in the California Community College system in Fall 2006, a few months after completing my Master’s degree in Linguistics from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). A few years prior to graduation from CSUN, I discovered and started to hone my passion for working closely with students, primarily through individual tutoring in English to Speakers of Other Languages.
