Normal Folk is a coming of age story about a 65-year old woman, living in Normal, Illinois, who’s about to get married for the first time. But her life-long dream comes to a halt when an estranged and mentally challenged relative is suddenly left in her care. What unfolds is a shattered woman, forced to confront her past in order to salvage her future.

Director/Screenwriter Graham Streeter features first time autistic actor Marty Murphy as she braves the role of her life.  Streeter delivers a unique narrative feature film that highlights the growing bubble of autism in our world today; how access to information can change both generations past, and generations to come and how feature films can play a role in making a positive difference.   Click here for more.

Return to Autism, a compelling feature length documentary that follows an autistic woman from Normal Illinois as she tries to survive a week swimming with sharks in Hollywood; pitching a movie about autism, starring herself.  The documentary aims to attract and educate a general audience about a host of current issues facing our society today.  

All her life, Marty Murphy, born in Normal, Illinois, has struggled with autism spectrum disorder.  For years it ruled her, unable to speak at times, challenged with sensory overloads and volatile meltdowns. A successful public speaker today, now she is being asked to go back into autism; She is being asked to come to Hollywood and literally “pitch” a feature film about autism that she will also act in.  But not only act in, she will “regress” into a deep state of autism in order to truthfully play a role that was written based on her autism traits some 10 years ago.  Click here for more.
