The beauty of these older BMW’s is the simplicity, so wherever I find my self in the world any bush mechanic will be able to carry out any repairs.

    My objective with the bike is to make it as reliable as I can by replacing and improving all known weaknesses before I set off, changing all serviceable parts, making it as comfortable as I can and being able to lock away the majority of my gear. There’s sure to be be something I’ve missed!
