At the ripe young age of 47 its time to explore this wonderful world we habit, having worked from leaving school at seventeen and serving my time as a ‘Motor Mechanic’ to being ‘Head of Design’ at a leading mail order company I’ve dreamed of travelling. finally the

time has come.

    I bought my first bike when I was fourteen, a 1959 Francis Barnet, which was pulled apart and rebuilt and many a happy hour was had riding it with my life long friend Gary.

    Motorcycles have been a big part of my life and over the years I’ve participated in motor cross and trials events as well as having many road bikes from a Ducati 916 to  a BMW Adventure, but to me nothing appeals more than the character of the BMW PD, this one being my third and now my travel bike!

    This will be the trip of my life, exploring the world and myself, through good times and not so good! meeting the wonderful people of the world.
