i-1 is a multi-functional high performance humanoid robot, capable of seeing with its stereo cameras, hearing with its stereo microphones, it has 50 degrees of freedom. It is the only free-standing force-controllable full-body humanoid robot in the world. Our control scheme is based on the collaborative work of Dr. Sang-Ho Hyon [Hyon et. al. 2007].
