Hal Gordon

speechwriter, speaker, executive communications consultant

Words can indeed move the world.  But where do you find the right words?  One way is to ask an expert.

I’m Hal Gordon.  For over 25 years, I’ve made my living writing speeches, articles, op/eds and other high-level executive communications for some of the most prominent political and corporate figures in America -- including cabinet-rank members of the federal government, top CEOs and General Colin Powell.

I’m a ghostwriter, but I’m not always invisible.  I’ve lectured on speechwriting on college campuses, at speechwriter conferences and before other communications professionals.  I also write a blog called The Speechwriter’s Slant, which can be found elsewhere on this web site.  I’m available for speaking engagements and coaching other writers.

So if you need help finding the right words for any occasion, call me.   I’m a freelancer, so I can offer you top-quality communications skills on a per-project basis.  I’ve made a career by helping some of the most successful people in this country look good on the platform or in print, and I can do the same for you.
