Schrute of All Evil
One of the biggest pitfalls of the Internet is that it exposes you to crap that you would have never known existed otherwise...crap you end up buying. Got an e-mail today reminding me that I had spent good money on a Dwight Schrute Bobblehead, and it was shipping. I know I am an idiot for plucking down cash on something so completely useless and “uncool,” but somehow I think a few of you might still be jealous.
Still suffering from PS3 sticker shock? Well you shouldn’t be. Did you really believe a Blu Ray player was gonna be $299? Anyway, this clever gentleman has compiled charts to put video game expense in a historical context. If Nintendo keeps the Wii (love saying that out loud) under $200, they might just win this round of the console wars. Wonder what kind words Steve Ballmer will have for the House of Mario on that day...
Bad news for all you comic book guys and dolls. The new CW network will not be producing their “Aquaman” series after all. Boo hoo. Guess you all will just have to continue to get your teen superhero angst fix in Smallville.
