Oh the vanity and deceit of Hollywood. Turns out that my little American Idol minx is at least a part-time sham. Kellie Pickler’s Wikipedia page states that she finished 2nd in Gimme the MIc and competed in the Miss North Carolina pageant. And Wikipedia ain’t exactly The Smoking Gun. Probably more dirt that I don’t want to know out there. “Never sang in front of anyone” my ass.
Saw Larry on Friday. Friend of mine dragged me to go see it. Was a solid movie with a surprisingly good story for a star-driven comedy. Lots of twists and intrigue. Has that Matrix “what the crap!?” kind of appeal. Although I must admit that I couldn’t hear much of the dialogue because Nate was laughing so loud.
Well, I’m now officially a proud time-share owner. Was the only way I could get the time-share sales-pricks to leave me alone. Who knew that a free trip to Joshua Tree, CA was merely a ploy to get me to pseudo-own a small part of a condo there. So if anyone wants to live it up in Joshua Tree, hit me up.
