We are a Masters (Veterans) swimming club linked to CMKSC for competitive swimmers over the age of 18, who want to keep fit, compete at Masters meets and have some fun in the process

We train at a 6 lane 25m pool at Stantonbury Campus Leisure Centre, Stantonbury, Milton Keynes, MK14 6BN

Swimming costume, goggles, kickboard & pull buoys, although we have spare kickboards and pull buoys to start with

  1. BulletWhat standard do I need to be?

Each lane has a different standard of swimmer depending on fitness etc.  The training distance swam in an hour session ranges from 1500m (60 lengths) in an hour to 2750m (110 lengths)


  1. BulletHow much does it cost?

No long term commitment is required swimmers can pay £3.50 per session and this is payable at reception.  This is reduced if you become a club member


  1. BulletDo I have to compete?

Not if you don’t want to, however, if you want to join in we compete at inter club gala’s, open meets and regional and national Masters championships

Swim Fit Sessions


Stantonbury swimming pool is closed from Monday 20th July 2009, for approximately 10 weeks while the changing rooms undergo major refurbishment. So the Monday and Friday Stantonbury training sessions will be cancelled.

 

We are running the sessions at Wolverton Open Air Pool, come rain or shine, so long as the pool is open. Please support the coach who will be taking the session. Don’t worry the rain will not hurt you!

 

Tuesday 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Friday 7.00pm to 8.00pm

 

Cost £3.00 payable on the door + 50p payable to the coach for coaching.

Directions:-

Turn off Stratford Road, up Anson Road, along Aylesbury Street, towards The Radcliffe School, turn left up a small road at the end of the row of housing.

 

 

Wolverton Pool closes at the end of August, so we will be looking for more pool time for September.
