Welcome
City of Milton Keynes Swimming Club is the premier club in the Milton Keynes area. CMKSC has ASA swim21 status at all 4 levels, namely Teaching, Skill Development, Competitive Development and Performance level. We are able to provide a well organised, structured swimming programme, where swimmers can progress from ‘Learn to Swim’ classes to International standards. Both the Head Coach and Assistant Coach are ASA qualified and experienced in coaching National swimmers.
The programme focuses on the need for a flexible organisational framework within which the needs and aspirations of competitive swimmers within Milton Keynes can be better identified and realised. The Head Swim Coach, in conjunction with the other Swimming Coaches will identify and develop swimming talent, provide information and guidance to parents and ensure that appropriate avenues are opened up to maximise the swimming potential of all swimmers.

CMK success at 2009 National BAGCAT and Youth Championships
CMK's team of 8 swimmers returned from the summer National championships with the best results in the club's recent history. Two swimmers made finals: Joss Ulyett (7th 200m IM) and Graham Joyce (6th 200m Back) with Graham also making 2 semi finals (100m Back and 200m IM). Emma Joyce (400m IM) and Joss (200m IM) set new senior county records with every member of the team setting massive new personal bests and club records too.
Lauren Ottaway set PBs and club records in all the Backstroke events coming 21st 15yr old in her first ever National Champs. Matt Masters narrowly missed many finals (100m Free, 200m Free, 100m Back, 200m Back, 200m IM and 800m Free) with times that would have been close to medals in recent years, he finished 13th overall in the BAGCAT points competition (top in the south east region). Ben Flaherty came 13th in the 1500m following some excellent preparation then backed it up with a 6th place on his "fun event" the open water. The Boys age group relay team of Matt, Ben, Adam Van Lokven and Courtney Dos Santos set two South East region records only to see them taken again later in the meet and narrowly missed a third.
Head Coach Greg Buck was delighted with the results: "The performance of this team shows what quality in depth we have at CMK. It is rare to have this consistancy of success in a group of swimmers and the levels of progression show how well they have prepared for this meet. All swimmers at CMK can be proud of the results as it is the team mates back home that push each other and make training fun in order to help gain this result."
