J.M.M.S. Peer Tutoring and Mentorship
 
Our peer tutors and mentors are comprised of 8th grade AVID and G.A.T.E. students committed to making a positive difference in their school community. They have worked very hard to achieve many academic successes and they are excited to share their experiences and advice to help other students at John Muir achieve the same level of excellence. “I want to shape the school into a much more intellectual place, where students are not seen as trouble makers but as intellectuals.” - Luis Torres
