Take me to the NEWS ARCHIVE!

News: 5/1/99

I've just returned from the local Photo Mat with some pictures I snapped from a few years ago while on vacation with the Dahlins. Take a look at a couple of them.

Michelle has been having some trouble with her e-mail at work. Fortunately I did get a message from her this week. She reminded me just how old I'm getting. Dawn is graduating this year and, not to be outdone, her sister Emily is riding a bike!

Ryan is hard at work on his new site. It should make its debut any day now. Details are sketchy, but he tells me there will be an entire section devoted to his passion: ballet. This man lives for the dance. In fact, he arrived at work Friday in his best, powder blue, Danskins and point shoes (Friday is casual day). Am I worried that he might make crap up about me on his web page? I guess not...

Nevin Hayter has visited this web page. You should go to the link page and visit his page. It features examples of his work with polymer clay. The photo on the link page is a picture of a small sculpture that I am in the process of purchasing. When you see his page, I know you're going to want to own your own Nevin Hayter original.

ADDENDUM

There is a new site on the link page. I would like to tell you more about id page, but I can't; you'll just have to see it for yourself. You really should take a look. There's something for everyone.

Our next-door-neighbor, Lynn, thought she simply twisted her ankle. Turns out she broke a bit of bone off and it's floating around in there. Things aren't healing as they should and now she has to see a surgeon. Let's all cross our fingers and hope that she gets better soon. Stay tuned. I've got some bullets for the Polaroid and you might be seeing a few photos of her infected, open wounds in the days to come.

Deb and I don't have much money to live on this week. We were at Target again today and the lady at the register took all of our dough. I would, normally, like to solicit all of you for money so that we can buy groceries, but I think that would be a waste. I want to save my begging for something important, like a large screen TV. I would even settle for something- anything bigger than a 19" tube (that sounded vaguely dirty in a quasi-homo-erotic way).

Just as I promised above, here is a photo of our neighbors. I'm sure that they were thrilled when they saw me stalking them with a camera in their own back yard. Fortunately they are very nice and very understanding. However, after I took this picture, I did hear them latch all of their bolts when they went inside.

Dave and Mom are both home from their trips. In previous news you learned that Dave was in Arkansas on business and Mom was in Phoenix with some friends. I wonder which of the two had the better time? Not that I have anything against Arkansas, but I don't think I'll calling PriceLine for cheap fares to Little Rock in the near future. Look for pictures of these fine people in the near future.
