The walk starts between 8:00am and 9.00am on Sunday, 6th June 2010 at the Winchester Cathedral in the town centre of Winchester, Hampshire and follows the 26 mile route of the Clarendon Way finishing near Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury. The walk is approximately 26 miles long and encompasses a diverse range of terrain.  The walk will take an average of 9 hours, so please assure that you are physically prepared for this challenge.
Please either arrange to be picked up from Salisbury between 3:00 – 7:30pm or book onto one of our buses going back to Winchester.  The bus will leave Salisbury every 45 minutes and 7.30 and arrive approximately 45 minutes later in Winchester.

Check in: from 7:30 am   Check in to receive map; pledge cards/sponsorship money envelopes can be handed in from 7:30 am.

Directions to Winchester Cathedral:  
Rail:  Southwest Trains runs a regular service to Winchester
Road:  Leave the M3 at junction 9 or 10 and follow signs to city centre and park in the town centre.  The cathedral is only accessible on foot from one of the town centre car parks.  
Parking & Maps
Please note that there is no parking in the cathedral close.  Park in the car parks surrounding the cathedral. Parking is free on Sundays.

Directions to Salisbury Cathedral:  
Rail: Regular services from London Waterloo taking only 90 minutes with a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral.
Road:  Car parks include Central, Brown Street, Crane Street. See here for maps of car parks in Salisbury.  Please note that the George Mall/New Street car park closes at 4.00 on Sundays.

Drink/Food:  We suggest you bring your own water supply unless we announce that water will be sponsored.  You can pre-order a lunch bag which will be waiting for you in Broughton.  The cost is £5.  Please pre-order these on your registration form or ring us.
Once on the walk, please be sure to keep all litter with you as there are no bins in the countryside!
