The Dovetail Joint

The Dovetail Joint

Quality, aesthetics and affordability
In my thirty plus year career in technology management I found it important to balance the intellectual focus of my professional life with an aesthetic focus in my avocational interests. Over the years I worked in a variety of media but always came back to wood as my favorite and fine furniture making as the preferred outlet. Several years ago I decided to change the focus of my life and now do full time what I used to do avocationally - design and hand craft fine furniture that I hope will become heirlooms in your family’s future.
My passion is to continuously find ways to build my furniture pieces to a ever higher quality standard for the enjoyment of your family for generations to come. As a result I am always seeking new and innovative ways to employ the very latest in state of the art tools and techniques. My pieces are made from the finest hardwoods selected from throughout the world as appropriate, but I focus on the locally unique domestic hardwoods. Exotic varieties come only from sustainably harvested plantations or from recycled materials. The designs are all original.
For custom commissions you become an integral part of the design process from the beginning. We will work together via email, phone and photos to create exactly what you want. Just call, send an email. or stop by to get started. I look forward to working with you.
