We arrived at Narita airport after about a 10 hour flight and to our house around 11 pm.  Customs, money exchange, rail pass exchange, and a couple of trains got us to our destination of Nakai, a suburb of Tokyo near Shinjuku.  We were hungry and tired but went out to the street and ducked into this yakitori shop where we were struggling with our japanese since no english was spoken and the menu was all in japanese- no photos (or plastic samples to point at)! Warm and humid outside, I ordered a cold beer and they wanted to serve it to the boys as well!  They ordered cokes instead. It was good and we went home to bed.
