Before proceeding, please ensure the requirements below are met.

1. -MS Windows 2000 with Excel 2000 or higher are installed
   

2. -User has administrative rights to install software
   

3. -Installation of Excel is completion, including all options (install option is ‘Run all from My Computer’)
   

4. -Windows and Excel are up to date with the most current service packs. This is especially critical for Windows Vista and Excel 2007.
   

Please uninstall all previous version of SigmaXL, including trials, before following the instructions below.

Click the following website.

http://www.sigmaxl.com/New/Release/SigmaXL_Setup.exe

1. •The download will start immediately
   

2. •Select “Save” (save to a folder such as Downloads or Temp)
   

3. •Select Run (it may ask you twice)
   

4. •If a box appears asking “Do you wish to remove SigmaXL?” select “Yes”, and “Finish”
   

5. •Double-click on the SigmaXL.exe file to install the new version.
   

6. •We recommend that you accept all defaults during the install.  Enter User Name and Company Name.
   

7. •Setup type should be “Complete”.  The installer will automatically create a desktop shortcut to SigmaXL.
   

8. •Once the installation is complete, open SigmaXL by double-clicking on the SigmaXL desktop icon, or click Start > Programs > SigmaXL > SigmaXL.
   

The first time you open SigmaXL, a dialog box will appear asking you if you wish to activate your software.
