The McGill Rose Garden has been a center for learning and experiences related to roses, gardens, gardening, art and culture since the early 1950s. The rose garden is a living work of art, nestled in an intimate urban setting that links Charlotte's First Ward/Garden District and North Davidson Historic Arts District/NODA. 

Explore our Garden Shoppe & Gallery located inside the McGill Rose Garden.   The Garden Shoppe is a retail cooperative of entrepreneurial garden enthusiasts, artisans and “green thumbs” offering everything from fresh herbs to garden statuary.  We are passionate about this garden and are committed to preserving Henry McGill’s dream to provide a place for children and adults to experience, explore and discover nature through their senses.  Thank you for taking a virtual tour on the above pages and we hope to see you in the garden soon!
