In this series we are going to address two major concerns. First, the events found here are not to be considered normative and therefore not necessarily replicated in the contemporary church.

Second, the Acts of the Apostles is Volume 1 in an ongoing “series.” The current volume being written is Volume 21. It is vital we understand we are the latest volume. The concept of roots and continuity is important to our recognition of our responsibility to continue the work first recorded here, making disciples.
