Students have a broad curriculum: they study Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, History and Geography, and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education. Students also study Technology which has various strands in Computing, Wood, and Food Technology. Students also study Music and the Visual Arts. In Year 8 students will also study a language – Italian. One of the features of Magdalene Catholic High School’s learning program is MILTA – Magdalene’s Independent Learning Teaching and Assessment Program, which links with our primary schools. MILTA has two periods per week, to encourage and assist students to take increasing responsibility for their own learning in secondary school. There are a number of cross curricula tasks which the students complete over the twelve months of the course.
