Gina Pace is a freelance reporter based in New York. Her work has appeared in Newsweek, MSNBC.com and Plenty Magazine.  She recently worked as a crime reporter for the St. Petersburg Times and covered city government for the Miami Herald. Gina is a graduate of Columbia University's School of Journalism, where she studied New Media and education reporting. She's also worked as a news producer at CBSNews.com and an education reporter at the Pensacola News Journal.

As an undergraduate, Gina majored in Foreign Service at Georgetown University and studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador and Santiago, Chile. She spent most of her time at Georgetown at the Georgetown Voice and credits the university's weekly newsmagazine with inspiring a career in journalism.
