Here is my latest and greatest.  A bit funky, had fun with this one!  I am actually singing but I got creative - recorded in the key of C and then changed it to the key of A.  So let me know what you think.

Today I realized there is no chance,

No chance of love with you.

All my silent yearnings have plunged

Into a dark abyss of doom.

For a future of bliss with you.

But damn it, I want you.

This dance I had hoped for,

And surround us with love,

Has now turned to ashes,

Falling  from above.

It makes sense now,

I think now I see……..

I’m in love with you,

But you’re not free.

You’re the kind I want,

The kind I say I need,

But baby, you’re not for me!

Today I realized there is no us,

No link that makes you mine.

I’m dreaming in a world that is not here,

No matter that you’re divine.

Today I realized that pain is real,

And pills cannot take away.

It follows me down alleys and into in my dreams,

It hurts me everyday.

I embrace the pain that holds me,

at least I know it stays.

turning from your memory,

I will hold my tears at bay.

It makes sense now,

I think now I see……..
